COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES IN PSYCHOTHERAPY AND SELF-REGULATION

Abstract.

Computer technology is a process that uses a set of methods and means for implementing the operations of collecting, recording, transmitting, accumulating and processing information through computers and computer networks. In recent decades, computers and computer networks have played an increasingly important role in the development of humanity, including the use of psychotherapy. Our review describes research on the prospects of the use of computer technology in the provision of psychotherapeutic assistance for and self-regulation of the mental state of users. The results of this research can serve as a basis for development and research in further scientific studies in Russia.
