On March 4, an article was published in the “Psychology and Psychotechnics”, journal, included in the list of HAC, highlighting the topic “Capabilities and limitations of online information programs as tools of psychological self-help”.
The authors of the article are Ph.D. Timoshkina A.A. and Garayshina E.M.
The purpose of the study is to identify changes occurring in cognitive schemes during the use of the self-help program “Master Kit”.
In the course of the study, researchers found that psychological self-help programs are capable of creating adaptive patterns in the structure of the human psyche. It has also been proven that major changes occur in cognitive and affective structures, which are responsible for the relationship between internal referent, forming beliefs, and the perception of external events.
Restructuring into positive cognitive schemes allows us to enrich the lives of self-help program participants with new effective behavioural strategies.
